Kitting & Bundle Assembly

Bundles, subscription boxes and gift sets built to order or to stock, tracked as a bill of materials so component stock never oversells.

A bundle is the most profitable thing an ecommerce brand can sell: a higher basket, a better margin, and a product the customer cannot price-compare. It is also the hardest thing to fulfil, because somebody has to build it. Noxtics has been assembling bundles, kits and subscription boxes since 2018, running our own multi-brand catalogue on the same floor, and the bundle engine inside our eStore ERP was built for exactly this work.

Kitting services

Product bundles

Virtual bundles picked from component stock at order time, or pre-built kits held as their own SKU. The ERP tracks both, so component stock is never oversold.

Subscription boxes

Monthly box builds assembled on a production line ahead of your ship date, with variant handling for size, flavour or preference, then despatched in one batch.

Gift sets and seasonal packs

Christmas, Mother's Day and launch sets built in advance so peak orders are a single pick rather than five.

Retail and wholesale kitting

Case packs, shelf-ready trays, mixed cartons and retailer-specific labelling for orders going to shops and distributors.

Labelling and relabelling

Barcodes, FNSKU labels for Amazon, ingredient and compliance labels, and removal of supplier labels before stock goes on sale.

Light assembly

Inserting manuals and accessories, attaching cables, fitting batteries, applying tamper seals and shrink-wrapping finished units.

Why the bundle engine matters

Most warehouses treat a bundle as a special case that gets handled by hand. That is why bundles get forgotten in peak, why component stock goes negative, and why your website sells a gift set that cannot be built. Our ERP models every bundle as a bill of materials. When an order for a bundle arrives it explodes into its components at pick time, or draws from pre-built stock if you have chosen to assemble ahead. Availability shown to your store is calculated from whichever component is scarcest, so a bundle drops off sale the moment it can no longer be made, and comes back the moment stock lands.

How a kitting project runs

  1. Define the kit. Components, quantities, packaging, any labels or inserts, and whether it is built to order or built to stock.
  2. Sample build. We build one, photograph it, and send it to you for sign-off before any volume run.
  3. Production. Built in batches on a dedicated bench, each finished kit scanned into stock under its own barcode.
  4. Despatch. Kits ship through normal order fulfilment like any other SKU, and returned kits can be broken down and re-kitted through returns management.

Sourcing the components

Brands that build bundles often source the pieces from several suppliers, frequently overseas. We run two regular China inbound programmes and receive containers directly into warehousing in Kidlington, so components can arrive, be quality-checked, and go straight into a build without a second leg of transport. The cross-border pages explain that side of the service.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum kitting run?

No fixed minimum. Kitting is charged per unit built, with the rate depending on how many steps a kit involves. Small runs and one-off gift sets are fine.

Can bundles be sold on Amazon and eBay as well as my site?

Yes. A pre-built kit has its own barcode and can be listed on any channel through our integrations. Virtual bundles are best on channels that let us control availability, which includes Shopify and WooCommerce.

Do you supply packaging for boxes?

We can source cartons, mailers, tissue, void fill and printed inserts, or store the packaging you supply as its own SKU.

Where are the kits built?

Everything is built in our Kidlington warehouse, four miles north of Oxford. Local brands are welcome to visit during a sample build. See areas we cover.
